Lil and Bruce proudly display their banner that guides you to them at Heritage Station
Bruce and Lil Bowersock talked together for all the 10 years of their marriage about "one day after Lil retired" opening their own art gallery. They both knew it was just a dream, but they hoped and prayed anyway.
Then one day, Beth Marcum, owner of Xerox distributorship, Peake Office Solutions, found Lil through a mutual friend. You know the old story about 6 degrees of separation...or was it. We feel it was divine intervention that Beth called us to open our own gallery with her at Heritage Station.
Long story short, we are just so happy to be surrounded by our own art everyday! It just makes us happy and we hope it will make you feel happiness too.
There are about 40 framed originals, a hundred unframed originals, prints of paintings, photographs both framed and unframed, notecards, coasters....you name it, Bruce and Lil probably have paintings in it or on it!
We invite you to stop by and visit. We have comfy places to sit, art books to read the blues playing softly and many days one or both of us are painting! It is a quiet interluded outside the hustle and bustle.
Watercolor Dreams Gallery is located next to a #10 steam engine from the B & O Railroad. Bruce finds it so amusing that even this far from his home in Baltimore MD, he still sits and paints along side a Pullman Car that was part of the railroad line out of Baltimore that defined this area know as West Virginia! This refurbished area is becoming an art mecca for the area with sixteen new businesses are open now for your enjoyment.
Watercolor painting classes started Wednesday, July 6, 2011 from 5:-7:30 p.m. We are also offering classes on Saturday mornings from 10-12 and Saturday afternoon from 1-3 p.m. Due to space limitations, class size is limited to 4. Please call the gallery to reserve your spot. There is a $20 charge per class (2 hours).
